Terms of Service
Last updated: July 8, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Build My Workflow service ("we," "us," "the service") at buildmyworkflow.io. By starting a trial or subscription you agree to them.
1. What the service is
Build My Workflow is a subscription service that scopes, builds, tests, documents, and maintains automation workflows inside software accounts you own. You submit requests; we build them. Plans differ in how many builds are active at once and how support is delivered.
2. The $1 trial
- Your trial starts when the $1 payment is collected, usually live on your onboarding call, and runs for 7 days.
- On day 8 your selected plan begins and your card is charged the plan price (Starter $997/month, Growth $1,497/month, or a custom Enterprise rate) unless you cancel before day 8.
- We send a reminder before the first full charge.
- Cancel during the trial and you owe nothing beyond the $1. Anything we delivered during the trial keeps working in your accounts.
3. Billing and cancellation
- Subscriptions bill monthly in advance and renew automatically.
- You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; you keep the service until then. No further charges after that.
- Upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge. Downgrades apply at the next cycle.
4. Our guarantees
Three written guarantees apply to every subscription:
- First build: if we miss 72 hours on your first workflow, measured from the time your brief is submitted and the needed tool access is in place, your first month is free. You still get the workflow.
- Every build: if we miss the 72-hour window on any build, measured the same way, that month's subscription fee is refunded in full.
- Maintenance: workflows we build are maintained at no extra charge for as long as you're a subscriber.
The 72-hour clock pauses while we're waiting on access, credentials, or information only you can provide, and where you've asked us to hold. Outside these guarantees, fees for delivered work are non-refundable.
5. What you're responsible for
- Providing role-based access to the tools each build touches, on accounts you own and are authorized to grant access to.
- Paying for your own software subscriptions (n8n, Zapier, OpenAI, and similar). Our fee covers our work, not your tool costs.
- Reviewing builds before relying on them for critical business processes.
6. Scope
The service covers automation workflows in supported tools. It does not include custom software or app development, heavy custom API engineering, workflows processing protected health information or other regulated data, automated financial decisioning, or general IT support. Larger projects are quoted separately.
7. Ownership
Everything we build for you (workflows, prompts, documentation) is deployed in your accounts and belongs to you. If you cancel, it keeps running and we remove our access within 24 hours. We keep the right to reuse general know-how, techniques, and non-client-specific components.
8. Confidentiality
We treat your business information, data, and credentials as confidential, access them only to deliver the service, and don't share them with anyone outside the team working on your account.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Workflows depend on third-party platforms we don't control; those platforms change, and we maintain builds when they do, per the maintenance guarantee. Except for the guarantees above, the service is provided "as is." Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in your Slack channel before they take effect. Continued use after that is acceptance.
